The head of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Colonel Abduvosit Abdurazakov, recently visited the city of Angren in the Tashkent region. This visit was intended to assess the activities of the Internal Affairs Department, assess crime levels, explore crime prevention strategies, and review initiatives implemented during the "Safe and Healthy Country" month.
During the assessment, discussions focused on the effectiveness of nighttime operations by personnel. Discussions also focused on prevention strategies employed in "red" areas characterized by high crime rates. The evaluation included an analysis of ongoing efforts directed at individuals predisposed to criminal activity, those with a history of convictions, and individuals currently under supervision. It also included a review of the activities of mahalla sevens.
Furthermore, the condition of essential service facilities, including the duty station, the security department, and the technical infrastructure, was thoroughly reviewed. A review of the routing process for night patrols, as well as measures to ensure compliance with legal standards, was also conducted.
A number of potential solutions were discussed to improve the crime situation, taking into account the specific conditions and features of each mahalla. The results of this comprehensive analysis led to directives being issued, and strategies were developed for addressing deficiencies and areas requiring improvement.
