Video Selector Meeting was held on "Migration Prevention" Activities

On August 9, a video selector meeting was held under the supervision of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to review the progress of "Migration Prevention" initiatives and to assess administrative practices, as well as identify existing shortcomings in the implementation of these activities.
"Migration Prevention" measures were initiated nationwide from July 15 to August 15 of this year.
During the month of July, a total of 305,911 out of 698,920 citizens who had returned from extended stays abroad underwent medical examinations. Within the framework of social prevention efforts, 15,965 individuals received relevant consultations, while 11,381 were registered in a special category designed for further monitoring. Additionally, 25,021 individuals were engaged in entrepreneurial activities, and 135,883 were provided with employment opportunities. Furthermore, material assistance was extended to 158 individuals, and medical support was offered to 50,052 persons.
Preventive inspectors conducted local surveys involving 126,741 citizens, resulting in the identification of 71,428 individuals (56.3%) who were found to be in illegal status. These cases have been referred to the Migration Agency for further investigation.
