At the meeting, several key officials participated, including Colonel Bakhtiyar Torebekov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the governor of Chimboy district Aibek Tajetdinov. The meeting was also attended by heads of several law enforcement agencies, representatives of relevant institutions and organizations, and members of the mahalla and aul citizens' assemblies.
During the discussion, it was highlighted that deficiencies in the organizational structure of crime prevention efforts by local mahalla assemblies have contributed to the occurrence of serious crimes in several areas. Consequently, participants, including representatives from mahalla citizens' assemblies and staff from affiliated organizations, were tasked with evaluating the circumstances surrounding these incidents and implementing measures to prevent the recurrence of similar offenses in the future.
It was emphasized that crime prevention requires vigilance and proactive participation from all citizens, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts. The importance of community engagement was highlighted, as a crime-free environment contributes significantly to the safety and well-being of individuals.
Following the meeting, specific responsibilities and objectives were assigned to the attendees, focusing on crime prevention and other emergency situations.
