Najmiddin Turakhodjaev, the deputy head of the Academy for the Development of Information Technologies, welcomed the foreign specialist.
At the beginning of the meeting, it was recognized that reliable and strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany is rapidly developing in all directions. An exchange of opinions took place about the current importance of the projects the German International Cooperation Society implemented in Central Asia, particularly Uzbekistan. Joint training courses organized with the support of international organizations in the areas of preventing violent extremism, juvenile justice development, gender equality, cyber security, and other areas open up a wide range of opportunities for sharing experiences.
Pierre Robert provided an overview of the priorities of the organization's activities as well as the plans for future projects. A priority principle of cooperation, he said, is to ensure regional security and sustainable development within the "Central Asia - Germany" format.
Representatives of the Academy made several proposals during the dialogue. The parties agreed to activate cooperation in the face of current geopolitical threats, define measures in the "roadmap" for joint projects, and continue relations in a new format.
