Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On July 17, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan held an important meeting. The minister Colonel Bakhtiyor Torebekov conducted an important dialogue with drivers in the Amudarya district who have committed multiple serious traffic violations, specifically those with five or more violations. It took place in the meeting hall of the Khokimiyat of Amudarya.

A key focus of the meeting was the alarming increase in serious traffic accidents occurring within the borders of our republic. During the meeting, the tragic impact these incidents have had on our community was highlighted, including the tragedy of the deaths and the resultant orphanages.

As a result, the Minister emphasized the importance of immediate and effective measures to prevent further serious traffic accidents. The appropriate officials have been instructed to take proactive measures in addressing and resolving these issues, particularly with respect to those drivers who have repeatedly committed serious violations.
