A comprehensive review of the Department for Ensuring Security at Transport and Tourism Facilities' activities over the past six months was conducted under the supervision of Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. The objective of this meeting was to evaluate efforts made to prevent crimes and offenses, to identify any existing shortcomings, to outline future priorities, and to evaluate the results of the second quarter.

The meeting was held in a critical and analytical atmosphere, with participation from Deputy Heads of the Department, sector service leaders, and personnel from various sectors, who joined via videoconference.

During the meeting, a thorough analysis was conducted of the Department's initiatives aimed at preventing criminal activities and maintaining public safety. An emphasis was placed on the operations of the internal affairs departments and the sector services. The discussion highlighted the progress made in the second quarter towards enhancing public safety, combating crime and offenses, establishing public order, and creating secure environments at transportation facilities. Additionally, notable achievements and areas for improvement were discussed in the session. Moreover, the performance of regional leaders in areas with high crime rates was critically assessed, resulting in directives for the implementation of more robust preventive measures.

Concluding the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized the necessity for all personnel to diligently execute the tasks and instructions set forth by the Ministry's leadership. He stressed the importance of modeling exemplary conduct by leveraging their expertise to serve citizens. This includes serving the populace with a fresh perspective, refraining from misuse of official positions for personal gain, and actively mitigating corruption. Furthermore, he emphasized the need for timely and lawful responses to citizen concerns.

Taking a look forward, strategies have been developed with the aim of proactively addressing crime within our nation's transportation and tourism facilities, thus ensuring both a peaceful and secure environment for tourists and passengers visiting our country. The subsequent decisions resulting from this meeting will guide the ongoing efforts in this very important area.
