On March 1, 2024, a detailed discussion was held about strengthening social prevention, preventing harassment and violence against women, studying international experiences in preventing crime among minors, and training inspector-psychologists and employees of centres that provide social and legal support to minors by international specialists.
At the same time, opinions were exchanged on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan to further improve the system of reliable protection of women's rights, freedoms, and legal interests", approved on April 11, 2023. It was agreed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will develop a work plan for cooperation with the Department of Public Security and the representative office of UNFPA in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
