The Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting with Ahmed Al-Qasimi, the Executive Director of the UAE International Center for Advanced Practices in Countering Extremism and Violent Extremism, along with representatives from Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, discussions focused on improving international collaboration aimed at combating crime. Comprehensive insights were provided regarding the systemic reforms currently being implemented in Uzbekistan concerning this critical issue, as well as the preventive measures and advocacy efforts being undertaken to engage and educate the populace.
Concluding the friendly and constructive meeting, parties outlined essential future initiatives to support the implementation of rehabilitation and reintegration programs in partnership with the center.
