Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov has led the Republican Working Group in undertaking a detailed analysis of ongoing activities in Samarkand region.

As part of its mandate, the working group has instructed the heads of sector services within the regional Internal Affairs Department to ensure that Presidential Resolution No. PD-1, issued on January 3, 2025. This decree outlines key measures aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of systems designed to foster a safe environment in mahallas across the Republic while actively preventing criminal activities throughout 2025.

As part of this initiative, all facilities within the service areas of the department have undergone thorough inspections. Responsible leaders presented reports concerning efforts to stabilize the criminal situation, develop safe environments, and actively address crime. Furthermore, a series of strategic measures were identified to increase the overall effectiveness of these initiatives.
