A delegation from Singapore headed by Mr. Hung Wee Teck is currently on an official visit to the region of Samarkand.
During their visit, delegation members explored the region’s notable historical and cultural monuments. In addition, they gained insights into the operations of regional internal affairs authorities.
An official meeting occurred on June 12, featuring discussion between Chief Hung Wee Teck and Rakhmat Mamatov, the head of the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Department.
At the meeting, both parties expressed their shared interest in enhancing collaboration and exchanged experiences in relevant areas of practical cooperation. Specifically, they focused on topics such as ensuring tourism safety and combating crime, with an emphasis on cybersecurity.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides identifying promising initiatives aimed at further strengthening their collaborative relationship.
