Official Opening Ceremony of the Training Course for Employees of the MIA of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Korean Central Police Academy

An official opening ceremony was held today for a training course specifically designed for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Advanced Training Institute. This initiative is part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) project entitled “Capacity Building for the Establishment of a Simulated Training Center at the Institute of Advanced Training of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.” The event took place at the Central Police Academy of the Republic of Korea.
Law enforcement representatives from both Uzbekistan and Korea attended the ceremony. It was emphasized that strengthening bilateral cooperation, facilitating the exchange of expertise, enhancing the professional competencies of personnel in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and studying contemporary policing methodologies are important. Furthermore, discussions reinforced the importance of strengthening international collaboration.
The event also highlighted the ongoing partnership between Korea and Uzbekistan in the area of security. The agenda included a presentation on the Korean police system, which exhibited the training exercises conducted by the Korean Central Police Academy within the context of the situational simulation center. In this facility, the central personnel management service is simulated through the "112" system, emphasizing the procedures for managing reports of crimes and incidents, as well as the coordinated dispatch of police forces and resources to the scene.
