Commencement of Training Courses on Artificial Intelligence Applications in Forensic Expertise and Criminal Investigation

The Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a short-term training course titled "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Forensic Expertise and Criminal Investigation." This initiative has been organized in collaboration with KOFO Consulting and Education Organization from the Republic of Korea and Wonju Medical College, under the sponsorship of Yonsei University, South Korea.
The training sessions are being conducted in a hybrid format, whereby participants representing the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Expert-Forensic Service of Tashkent city and region, as well as esteemed professors and educators from both the Institute of Advanced Training and the Academy, are attending in person. Additionally, employees from internal affairs bodies in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and various regions are participating via online platforms.
Colonel Olimjon Akhmedov, the head of the Institute, opened the training course with a speech highlighting the steady progress in Uzbek-Korean relations in recent years. He noted that these relations facilitate the development of mutual cooperation across various areas that are beneficial to both parties.
This international training course aims to equip participants with practical methodologies relevant to the contemporary forensic landscape and advanced techniques for criminality examination. Furthermore, the program seeks to enhance the pedagogical capabilities of professors and educators, providing them with advanced knowledge and applications related to modern teaching methods, the utilization of artificial intelligence, and innovative technological solutions in their respective fields.
