Uzbekistan Open Championship held in Samarkand as part of the “World Triathlon Cup Samarkand–2025”

On May 24-25, the Samarkand region hosted the prestigious "World Triathlon Cup Samarkand–2025" and the "World Triathlon Para Cup Samarkand–2025," in which elite athletes from all over the world participated.
Competitors from the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated alongside 370 athletes from over 20 nations, showcasing their talents in both team and individual events.
In the men's triathlon super sprint team competition, which consisted of a 350-meter swim, a 13-kilometer bike ride, and a 3-kilometer run, the Ministry of Internal Affairs team secured 3rd place in the “AGE” category, which was achieved by the athletes E. Nosirov, A. Khakimov, and J. Kakhkhorov.
Additionally, B. Umaraliev, another representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, achieved 2nd place in the individual category of this segment.
In the standard distance triathlon events, which included a 1,500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride, and a 10-kilometer run, A. Muslinkin from the Ministry of Internal Affairs team distinguished himself by earning 1st place in the individual “AGE” category.
The outstanding performances by the officers of the internal affairs field at this significant international sporting event exemplify how individuals from a field that demands physical prowess, determination, and a sense of responsibility can effectively uphold the honor of our nation on the global sports stage.
