A delegation from Uzbekistan is currently participating in an international training course focused on "New Trends in the Illicit Trafficking of Synthetic Drugs," taking place from May 12 to 16 in Budapest, Hungary.
This notable event is organized jointly by the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA Budapest) and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It attracted key officials and experts from Uzbekistan's forensic institutions to engage in discussions centered on advanced methodologies for addressing synthetic drugs issues.
Sessions will cover a range of topics, including the production and distribution of synthetic drugs, the workings of the "darknet," illegal laboratories, transnational drug networks, the role of cyber currencies, and international legal frameworks and cooperation in law enforcement.
