On April 27-30, representatives of the Department of Migration and Nationalization under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as part of a delegation of ministries and departments led by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh Aminov, participated in the first meeting of the Uzbek-Russian interdepartmental working group on labor migration and migrants' rights protection, which was held in Moscow.
During the event, the parties discussed the current state of migration, problematic aspects, and ways to resolve them.
Participants in the meeting agreed to develop joint measures aimed at ensuring legality in the area of migration, taking into account the interests of both countries.
