The Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Aziz Tashpulatov held a report meeting on the results of a comprehensive inspection in Navoi region. The meeting was attended by responsible heads and personnel of regional and district-city internal affairs bodies.

After reviewing the results of the study conducted by the working group in the Navoi region, the meeting focused on critical issues related to the criminal situation within each city and district, the early prevention of offenses, the study of public appeals, the maintenance of public order and traffic safety, and employee compliance with executive and service discipline.

During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs awarded employees whose exemplary service and high results were recognized by the public and their colleagues.

In particular, Senior Lieutenant Inomjon Narzullaev, an operative of the Operational Investigation Service of the DIA of Kiziltepa district, was awarded the special title of "captain" ahead of schedule, and Captain Bobur Rahmatov, a senior investigator of the Investigation Group under the Zarafshan City Internal Affairs Department, was awarded the special title of "major" in advance.

Also, three forensic experts of the regional Forensics Department and four senior employees of the Zarafshan City Internal Affairs Department were rewarded with a "cash reward".

Following the comprehensive inspection, disciplinary measures were taken against a group of leaders whose service activities displayed serious shortcomings.

According to the results of the comprehensive inspection, measures were taken to improve the material and technical support provided by the regional Internal Affairs Department and territorial divisions.

The meeting heard reports from sector officials, set specific deadlines for eliminating identified shortcomings, and planned promising tasks for other issues awaiting resolution.
