A delegation from the MIA of Uzbekistan participates in an international conference in Baku

Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is participating in the international scientific and practical conference on "Current issues of expert forensic activities in competent bodies in CIS member states" being held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The conference was organized under the auspices of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and discussed issues related to the development of international cooperation in the field of forensics among the CIS countries, scientific and methodological support, and the participation of specialists in investigative actions and search operations.
A number of new areas are also being discussed, including the formation of new expert tasks in the study of artificially intelligent objects and obtaining information from electronic devices within the framework of forensic computer expertise.
Additionally, the conference will focus on the exchange of genome data and the improvement of mechanisms for exchanging information within the framework of the conference.
Uzbek officials are exchanging experiences with international partners and gaining an understanding of advanced methods in the field.
The conference is of considerable importance for the fight against crime as well as for the development of forensic science activities in the CIS countries.
