Amnestied citizens in Surkhandarya are actively involved in social life

Based on the Decree signed by our President on the occasion of Ramadan Eid, persons who sincerely repent of their crimes and resolutely embarked on the path of correction were pardoned. In accordance with this Decree, 24 Surkhandarya citizens were released from prison and returned to their families.
Today, regional governor Ulugbek Kasimov and the head of the regional internal affairs department, Colonel Timur Ismailov, met with these citizens. The regional officials stressed that the pardoned should follow a healthy lifestyle, find their place in society, and contribute actively to the reforms being implemented.
The relevant organizations were tasked with social adaptation, employment, health restoration, and material and moral support of the pardoned people.
