International criminology cooperation prospects between Uzbekistan and Belarus

A delegation led by the Head of the Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Berdialiev, participated in a scientific and practical conference organized by the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on April 17-18 on "Problems of combating crime and training personnel for law enforcement agencies."
The conference discussed the issues of exchanging experience in training law enforcement officers, introducing advanced technologies, and developing effective strategies for combating crime.
Speaking during the conference, B. Berdialiev's speech "Victory is not only about history, but also about the importance of strengthening law and order, protecting historical truth, and educating future law enforcement officials. Today we will discuss the main aspects of personal training, the improvement of criminal and administrative law, the development of criminology and forensic examination, and the introduction of advancing technologies in combating crime...” was especially appreciated.
During the plenary session of the international scientific conference devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus signed an agreement on cooperation.
Major General of Police Alexander Astrayko and Colonel Bakhtiyor Berdaliev signed the Agreement on Cooperation. The event was held within the framework of strengthening international cooperation between the two countries in the field of security and law enforcement.
The principal areas of the Agreement on Cooperation are the exchange of experience in combating crime, joint research in the field of criminology, the introduction of new technologies and developments in the educational process, along with the training and advanced training of law enforcement personnel.
