A meeting with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the MIA

Institute of the MIA of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Stefan Buchmeier, Head of the project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) "Prevention of Violent Extremism in Central Asia.", met at the Institute.
At the meeting, O.T. Akhmedov welcomed the delegation to the Institute and outlined the activities, goals and objectives of the educational institution, as well as efforts made by the leaders of the two countries to enhance and develop their mutual relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the work to be done in the future within the framework of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) project “Prevention of Violent Extremism in Central Asia.” Furthermore, they discussed involving professors from the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry in the trainings that will be organized this year and establishing a partnership with similar higher education institutions in Europe.
Following the meeting, Stefan Buchmeier introduced the activities of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and stated that he would use all opportunities for the effective implementation of the planned events.
