Today, the Regional Council of People's Deputies held its next meeting in Surkhandarya region.
The session was attended by members of the Oliy Majlis Senate elected from the region, deputies of the regional council, heads of regional sectors, deputies of the regional governor, heads of state, and representatives of public organizations.
According to the agenda, the report of the head of the regional DIA, Colonel Timur Ismailov, was heard on the work done based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No PR-3182 dated August 8, 2017, "On priority measures to facilitate accelerated socio-economic development of regions" and the Supplementary Decree of January 8, 2019 "On further improving the activities of sectors for the integrated socio-economic development of regions" Resolutions No PR-4102 and "On measures and an analysis of the work carried out during the 12 months of 2024 in the direction of "Fighting crime and preventing offences by internal affairs bodies", as well as effective measures to be taken this year, and future tasks.
During the session, the head of the department also answered questions from the deputy heads.
