An official meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held with members of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ)

Colonel Umida Abdullayeva, Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Service of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Stefan Buchmaier, Head of the Regional Project and Regina Galimova, Specialist in “Preventing Violent Extremism in Central Asia” from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
During the meeting, the joint work completed in 2024 was discussed.
Additionally, proposals were made to study the experiences of Kyrgyzstan and Georgia in 2025 on jointly preventing crime among women, minors and youths and correcting those who commit violence or have a tendency to commit it.
Agreements were reached to train senior inspectors for women's issues and women's activists in the mahallas and future joint projects.
