The head of the DIA of Andijan region, Colonel Ayubkhon Rahmatullayev, held a meeting to discuss urgent tasks related to preparing for the New Year holiday, maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of citizens during festive events, as well as the work being done to end 2024 with positive indicators and combat the illegal trafficking of pyrotechnics.

The meeting identified a number of tasks that should be carried out in cooperation with the competent authorities to thoroughly prepare for the festive events to be held in the city and districts, to maintain public order, and to ensure road safety during the holiday.

The responsible leaders received relevant instructions to ensure that internal affairs officers serve with vigilance and alertness and diligently perform their duties.

Additionally, necessary tasks were set to combat crime and prevent violations, complete the results of work in 2024 with positive indicators, eliminate the illegal distribution of pyrotechnics, and intensify preventive warning programs.
