On July 31, Colonel Ramazon Ashropov, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Jiang Jianguo, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Society for the Study of Human Rights

At the meeting, the Chinese side acknowledged the reforms we have implemented in our country to ensure human rights and interests, raise standards of living for the population, reduce the number of stateless individuals, return our compatriots who have suffered hardship in foreign countries, and ensure their full integration into society.

During the meeting, the parties talked about the positive experiences of the two countries regarding measures taken to guarantee human rights. This included the protection of minors, women, and youth, as well as the prevention of torture and other forms of harassment. Furthermore, a systemic approach to human rights cooperation was discussed at the meeting.

Following the friendly and constructive meeting, promising tasks for cooperation between the two countries were identified.
