Results of 2025 and Priority Tasks for 2026 reviewed in Andijan region

A review meeting dedicated to summarizing the results of 2025 and outlining priority tasks for the coming year was held in the Andijan region with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, the Head of the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs, his deputies, heads of sectoral services, and heads of city and district internal affairs bodies.
During the meeting, the Head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs presented the main issues on the agenda. Participants conducted a comprehensive analysis of the measures taken over the past year to prevent crimes and offenses, ensure public order and public safety. In addition, they identified shortcomings in certain areas and mahallas with a complex criminogenic situation.
A special focus was placed on the effectiveness of early crime prevention, the performance of internal affairs bodies and sectoral services, along with the need to eliminate existing deficiencies through targeted and systematic approaches.
Additionally, the meeting defined priority objectives for 2026, including strengthening preventive activities, expanding the use of digital technologies in policing, enhancing service discipline, and developing open and constructive dialogue with the public.
Following the meeting, the Deputy Minister for Internal Affairs, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, recognized a group of employees who have demonstrated professionalism, courage, and dedication in the prevention and suppression of crime, encouraging them for their exemplary efforts.
