A review of measures for early crime prevention and mahalla safety was conducted in Saykhunabad district

The Head of the Sirdarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs and the Regional Prosecutor paid a working visit to Saykhunabad district to review the measures being implemented to prevent crimes and offenses and to create a safe environment in local communities. Particular attention was paid to the Nurabad mahalla, which is classified as a high-risk area.
During the visit, the officials met with members of the mahalla seven and analyzed the effectiveness of their activities aimed at maintaining a stable criminal situation, preventing offenses among young people, identifying and addressing family-related issues early and eliminating factors contributed to crime within the mahalla.
During the discussion, the Regional Prosecutor and the Head of the Department of Internal Affairs emphasized the importance of further strengthen prevention efforts. They also emphasized enhancing the efficiency of the mahalla seven, ensuring close cooperation with residents, and responding quickly to every appeal from the population.
Following the visit, specific tasks were set to improve early prevention of crimes and offenses, ensure mahalla safety, and gradually remove the area from the “red category.”
