A public awareness campaign aimed at strengthening public safety was held in the Buvayda district of Fergana region in line with the Presidential Resolution “On additional measures to introduce a unified system of work to create a safe environment in mahallas across the Republic.”
The event was attended by the Head of the Fergana Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Major General Azizbek Ikramov, representatives of the regional administration, the leadership of Buvayda district, and members of the mahalla sevens.
During the event, Major General Azizbek Ikramov outlined specific tasks for the mahalla seven members, emphasizing the importance of preventing crimes involving women and young people, increasing vigilance against cyber threats, strengthening public awareness efforts in this area, and gradually introducing the capabilities of artificial intelligence into their daily activities.
The campaign served to raise public awareness, enhance preventive efforts, and reinforce a coordinated approach to ensuring safety and security in local communities.
