A Press Conference was held for media representatives as part of the “Month of Promoting Cyberculture”

As part of the nationwide initiative “Month of Promoting Cyberculture,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a press conference for media representatives at the Uzbekistan University of Journalism and Mass Communications.
The event brought together the university’s rector, Sherzodkhan Kudratkhodja, senior officials from the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry’s Operational Investigations Department, students, journalists, and the public.
As part of his opening remarks to the conference, Rector Sherzodkhan Kudratkhodja emphasized the growing responsibility of every citizen to remain vigilant and informed about cybercrimes, noting the importance of raising public awareness in order to ensure digital security.
Following that, Cybersecurity Center experts provided detailed presentations on the current state of cybercrime in the country and provided practical recommendations for strengthening cybersecurity and preventing online threats.
Following the presentations, media representatives took part in an active Q&A session, receiving comprehensive answers to their queries.
In accordance with the Presidential Resolution, the month of November has been declared the "Month of Promoting Cyberculture" throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.
