Youth policy
The state policy on youth in the system of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "Improving the efficiency of state policy on youth and supporting the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan" DP-5106 dated July 5, 2017.
The program of activities developed for 2024 in connection with the implementation of the state policy on youth in the system of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change has been approved, and work is being carried out in accordance with this program.
In total, there are 23 organizations in the subsystems of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, employing 10 thousand people. Of these, 4,000 are employees under 30 years of age.
In the implementation of state policy in the field of youth, cooperation has been established with non-governmental non-profit organizations, self-government bodies of citizens and other civil society institutions (Youth Union of Uzbekistan, Republican Center for Spirituality and Propaganda).
In order to ensure meaningful spending of free time of young people, special scientific and technical clubs and creative clubs have been created. In particular, the "Council of Young Specialists" has been created and is constantly operating.
Based on an agreement with sports facilities, competitions in mini-football, table tennis, and volleyball are regularly organized in order to promote the development of physical education and sports among young people, the desire to form a healthy lifestyle and interest in sports; in addition, sports halls have been created at the organizations of the system.
