Department of Atmospheric Air Protection
The Department of Atmospheric Air Protection is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Ecology).
The Ministry of Ecology acting on the basis of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Nature Protection" and "On the Protection of Atmospheric Air" as well as on the basis of the Resolution of the Ministry of Climate Change, the decision of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the decision and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the decision and instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers, orders and instructions of the Ministry of Ecology and environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Department of Atmospheric Air Protection works in cooperation with all structural divisions of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Ecology coordinates the activities of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of atmospheric air protection.
The Department of Atmospheric Air Protection interacts with public organizations and the population and provides them with methodological assistance, jointly organizes the work of inspectors in the field of environmental protection, and provides practical assistance.
