"Car-Free Day": popularizing the use of public transport

On Wednesday, February 26, the monthly "Car-Free Day" campaign was held in Tashkent, Nukus and all administrative centers of the country's regions.
Employees of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change urged citizens to abandon personal cars in favor of public transport and environmentally friendly modes of travel, setting a personal example.
For information: Motor vehicles are one of the main sources of air pollution. Using personal cars less frequently helps reduce harmful emissions and improve the environment.
