For information: The Third Subregional Youth Climate Conference of Central Asia focused on climate change, water resources and sustainable development. The conference brought together around 100 young people and experts from nine countries across the region. During the event, participants discussed climate change, water scarcity, desertification, glacier melt, green innovation and sustainable development, as well as practical solutions proposed by young people. The program also included thematic sessions, practical workshops, discussions, cultural exchange, and presentations of youth-led environmental initiatives and innovations.
During the visit to "Zarafshan" National Nature Park, young participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge of the park’s flora and fauna through specially designed interactive games. Divided into teams, they competed by completing various tasks and answering questions. The most active teams were presented with commemorative gifts.
Creative and educational activities were also organized for conference participants. In particular, young people had the opportunity to draw the Bukhara deer, expressing through art their ideas about respect for nature and its conservation. In addition, a question-and-answer relay was held among the participants, further expanding their environmental knowledge and broadening their understanding of environmental issues.
The visit contributed to fostering young people’s interest in nature, promoting environmental awareness and strengthening international youth cooperation on climate change and environmental protection.
