Accreditation of media representatives
In accordance with the Laws "On Mass Media" and "On the Principles and Guarantees of Freedom of Information" as well as with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Improving the Procedure for Accreditation of Representatives of the Mass Media of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Government Bodies" RCM-243 dated November 23, 2006, in order to create the necessary conditions for timely and objective coverage of the sphere of ecology, environment and climate change, accreditation of representatives of the mass media of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out. The Regulation on the procedure for accreditation of representatives of the mass media of the Republic of Uzbekistan with government bodies is approved by the above-mentioned Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. To accredit a correspondent of a mass media outlet with the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the editorial board must submit an application on its official letterhead signed by the editor-in-chief and certified by the seal.
The editorial application must indicate:
– name and type of mass media;
– specialization; distribution territory;
– e-mail address; telephone and fax numbers of the editorial office;
– last name, first name and patronymic of the correspondent submitted for accreditation;
– equipment that this correspondent must have with him to perform his professional duties.
The application must be accompanied by a certificate containing detailed information (official position, passport details, copies of the correspondent’s diploma, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers) and four photographs of the established format.
