About the activities
State Unitary Enterprise "State Center for Environmental Certification and Standardization" under the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Center) Established in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to ensure the organization of the activities of the state security committee" RP-2915 dated April 21, 2017.
In its activities, the Center is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, are guided by decisions and orders of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change, the Charter and other regulatory documents.
Also, in accordance with the Resolution of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 188-i of December 22, 1995 (came into force on May 7, 1996) of the Basel Convention of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the control of transboundary transportation and disposal of hazardous waste, hazardous waste was added to the Convention.
By the Resolution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 7, 2007 No. 1670 "New motor vehicles of categories "M2", "M3" and "H2" with gasoline and diesel engines imported to the Republic of Uzbekistan do not exceed the "Euro 2" environmental level". The environmental certificate of conformity is issued by DUK "Davekosertificat" on the basis of the temporary Instruction on the procedure for environmental certification for compliance with the requirements (Note: requirements not lower than the "Euro-3" environmental level have been introduced since 2010).
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the Concept of environmental protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" DP-5863 dated October 30, 2019 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On improving the system of environmental certification of new wheeled vehicles" RCM-50 dated January 30, 2020, the project was approved.
In accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the further development of technical regulation, standardization, certification and metrology systems" RP-4059 dated December 12, 2018 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the general technical regulations" RCM-95 dated February 18, 2020 approved.
The Center for Environmental Certification of Products and Services was established by the decision of the State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 31, 1997 No. 54.
In accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to improve the public administration system in the field of ecology and environmental protection" RP-3956 dated October 3, 2018, Environmental Certification, Standardization and Normalization of the General State Administration was renamed the State Center for Environmental Certification and Standardization.
An environmental certificate is a document issued by an environmental certification body to a user of natural resources, which certifies that the product is environmentally safe and that the object of environmental certification complies with the requirements and standards of current regulatory documents or regulatory legal documents.
