In accordance with the established procedure, the environmental inspectors prepared the necessary protocols. The damage caused to vegetation was estimated at 1,460,952,000 sums.

The leadership of the Tashkent city administration has taken the situation under personal control and announced that strict measures will be taken against those responsible for causing harm to the environment, in accordance with the law. It was also emphasized that joint efforts with the Ministry will be undertaken to prevent such incidents in the future. According to available information, all documents collected by the inspectors have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action as prescribed by law.

In addition, the city administration reported that 62,100 ornamental trees and shrubs will be planted to replace those that were cut down.
