More than 1,600 citizen reports resolved positively

Of these, 1,698 reports were reviewed and resolved positively. 63 reports were rejected because it was impossible to determine the location of the alleged violation, to establish contact with the complainant, or because the issue did not fall within the Ministry’s remit.
The majority of appeals related to the illegal dumping of household waste in unauthorised locations, underlining the need to further raise environmental awareness among the population. The number of reports concerning the burning of leaves and other plant residues also increased. By region, the largest number of reports came from the city of Tashkent, Kashkadaryo Region and Fergana Region.
