During the inspections, it was established that 22 industrial enterprises were operating in violation of environmental requirements. Based on these findings, measures were taken to suspend their activities and 25 officials were held administratively liable.

In addition, claims were filed with economic courts seeking the suspension of operations of 22 enterprises and workshops negatively affecting air quality. Of these, 20 claims were reviewed by the Karmana Interdistrict Economic Court, 19 of which were upheld.

In particular, on September 23, the Judicial Board for Economic Affairs of the Navoi Regional Court considered an appeal against the decision of the Karmana Interdistrict Economic Court and ruled to temporarily suspend the operations of the 23rd (ammonia) workshop of JSC “Navoiyazot.”

Furthermore, by decision of the Karmana Interdistrict Economic Court, the operations of three workshops of LLC “Sogda Kimyo Zavod,” located in Karmana district, were also temporarily suspended.

In addition, during raid activities, 92 illegal, unauthorized lime kilns were identified and fully dismantled with the participation of the relevant organizations.
