Offender Fined for Illegal Extraction of Black Sand Mixture

Inspectors of the Samarkand District Department of the Regional Office for Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change conducted another raid aimed at preventing the illegal extraction of non-metallic materials.
During the inspection, it was established that citizen M.A. was illegally extracting a mixture of black sand from the Dargom Canal, which flows through the Samarkand District, and loading it onto trucks.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender under Part 1 of Article 70 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. M.A. was fined 30 BCV, amounting to 16,480,000 sums.
Inspection raids are ongoing.
