International Wildlife Photo Contest Launched for CITES 50th Anniversary

Both professional and amateur photographers worldwide aged 18 and above are invited to participate. The contest features four categories:
-Species in the Spotlight: showcasing the beauty and value of CITES-listed species.
-Working Together for Wildlife Conservation: highlighting partnerships and joint conservation efforts.
-CITES and People: stories of rangers, Customs officers, Indigenous communities and others on the frontlines.
-Youth Perspectives (ages 18–35): the vision of young photographers on the future of wildlife conservation.
Winners and finalists will be featured at the 20th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CITES (CoP20), to be held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from 24 November to 5 December 2025.
Entries must be submitted by 21 September 2025 (23:59 CET) via the CITES50 Photo Contest Submission Form. Rules and further information are available in English, Français and Español.
