Youth Showcase Innovative Projects in Ecology and Tourism

The initiatives ranged from nature conservation, environmental clean-up, and the efficient use of natural resources to expanding green spaces and developing both domestic and inbound tourism. In particular, Ganjina Pulatova, a participant from Syrdarya Region, put forward a project on cultivating plants resilient to drought and saline soils. Shohsanam Sagindikova, a representative of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, presented the project “Relax, Plant Trees, Make the Future Green,” aimed at improving conditions for ecotourism in the region, while Gulirano Jabborbergenova focused on a project to instill in children the habit of cleaning up the environment and removing litter.
Other notable projects showcased included “Eco-Tree” by Gulsevara Boltaeva from Navoi Region; “Uzbekistan’s Hidden Gems” by Mirshod Sobitov from Tashkent; and an initiative by Maftuna Ashurova from Surkhandarya Region to promote the region’s lesser-known tourism potential.
Within the framework of his project “Peace to the Earth”, Kamoliddin Nishonov from Fergana Region proposed a product designed to stimulate plant growth in stony and saline soils.
The congress highlighted the creativity, forward thinking, and strong commitment of Uzbekistan’s youth to advancing environmental protection and tourism.
The winners will be announced and awarded on August 16 during the congress’s closing ceremony.
