A criminal case has been initiated against officials who illegally transplanted trees

The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Bukhara region conducted another control raid.
During the raid, it was established that during construction and repair work at the radiology department of a medical center located in the “Sheykhon” mahalla of Bukhara city, officials of the LLC “M.G.” took advantage of the fact that the territory was fenced off and illegally transplanted trees onto the premises.
As a result of the inspection, it was revealed that a total of 38 valuable trees had been transplanted, of which 26 died. The damage caused to nature was estimated at 170,062,500 Uzbek soums.
Based on this incident, the relevant materials were handed over to the prosecutor’s office, and a criminal case has been opened. Investigative actions are currently underway.
