At present, efforts to identify the sources of pollution are ongoing. In particular, on July 21, air quality analyses were carried out in the vicinity of industrial zones in the city of Navoi. According to the results, the concentration of pollutants in areas adjacent to the “Navoiazot” and “Sagda Kimyo” enterprises does not exceed the maximum permissible limits.

For reference: During a previous analysis conducted near the “Navoiazot” joint-stock company and the surrounding industrial zone, concentrations of certain pollutants exceeded permissible levels — ammonia was recorded at 1.4 times above the limit and hydrogen sulfide at 16.8 times above the limit.

Currently, inspections have been initiated to review the activities of several industrial enterprises located in the area. The assessment process is expected to take place with the involvement of public representatives. Additional information will be provided upon completion of the inspections.
