The situation with air pollution in the Navoi region has been studied

On July 19, between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., the analytical laboratory of the Navoi Regional Department of Ecology, together with the sanitary laboratory of "NavoiAzot" JSC, conducted on-site air quality monitoring on the premises of the enterprise using the EKOLAB gas analyzer.
According to the results, the concentration of ammonia in the atmosphere surrounding "NavoiAzot" JSC and the nearby industrial zone exceeded the permissible limit by 1.4 times, while the concentration of hydrogen sulfide exceeded the norm by 16.8 times.
In addition, data from the Hydrometeorological Department’s laboratory in the Navoi Region showed that at Monitoring Station No. 1 (Zulfiya Street), carbon monoxide levels exceeded the permissible threshold by 1.04 times and ammonia by 1.1 times. At Station No. 2 (Memorlar Street), ammonia levels were 1.2 times above the permissible limits.
Currently, documents are being prepared to conduct an inspection at the “Navoiazot” enterprise and identify the identified deficiencies.
