Application Deadline Extended for Training Courses under the “Tree Registry” Project

The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change in cooperation with the Tashkent City Khokimiyat, with support from the Zamin International Public Foundation. Its main goal is to conduct an inventory of trees across the city of Tashkent and develop a comprehensive digital database.
The courses are free of charge and intended for young people aged 20 to 30 with basic knowledge in ecology, forestry (dendrology), geodesy and cartography, as well as skills in using Windows OS, GPS, and GNSS equipment.
•The training covers the following areas:
•Legal framework for environmental protection
•General ecological knowledge
•Tree irrigation and maintenance systems
•Tree diseases and pests
•Fundamentals of dendrology
•Forest inventory indicators
•Working with GNSS devices and Field Map software
•Practical training (internship)
A total of 100 participants will be selected based on interview results. The training will last 2 weeks (72 hours). Those who successfully complete the course will receive an official certificate and may be offered employment opportunities within the project for up to two years, with paid positions.
