Action taken against offender who illegally entered protected reserve

Following the incident, inspectors from the Bostanlyk District Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Tashkent Region conducted an investigation. It was confirmed that the vehicle had entered a strictly protected natural area without authorization.
An administrative protocol was issued against the offender under Part 2 of Article 82 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was fined 10 times the basic calculation value of 3,750,000 sums.
For reference: According to Articles 19–22 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Protected Natural Areas” and Article 47 of the Law “On Nature Protection,” all activities within state nature reserves and landscape reserves are strictly prohibited. Public access to these territories is allowed only with official permission.
