Yerlan Nyssanbayev highly appreciated the importance of holding Eco Expo and emphasized that the exhibition is not only a demonstration platform, but also an important dialogue space: "Representatives of many countries have gathered here to see the latest achievements and innovations that can really affect the improvement of the environment around the world."
The Minister of Kazakhstan also expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek side for the invitation and highlighted the high level of organization of the event.
As part of the visit, the ministers visited the stands of all regions of Uzbekistan, where practical solutions in the field of ecology and sustainable development were presented. Particular attention was drawn to modern waste processing technologies, large-scale greening projects in populated areas, as well as a model for the construction of a new green park on an area of 77 hectares.
"We saw a common desire to improve the environment, and this is impressive. I believe that we have common and similar environmental challenges, and today it is more important than ever to address them at the regional level by joining forces," the minister emphasized.
During the visit, it was noted that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan intend to continue to actively develop bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection, paying special attention to the exchange of experience, training of specialists and the introduction of sustainable practices in environmental policy.
