National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event is being held as part of the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy", declared by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It reflects the country’s growing role in addressing global environmental and climate challenges. Eco Expo will serve as a major international platform for knowledge exchange, showcasing innovation and promoting sustainable solutions.

The exhibition will feature participants from both public and private sectors across Uzbekistan, Austria, Belarus, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Tajikistan, the UAE, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Russia, Turkmenistan, Italy, and other countries. More than 10,000 attendees and around 500 organizations are expected to take part — including tech startups, investors, international institutions and government representatives.

The expo program will cover a wide range of pressing topics: climate finance, digital technologies, green energy, water resource management, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, eco-friendly transport, green construction, smart cities, environmental education, and more. The event will include panel sessions, discussions, presentations, and B2B meetings. Participants will have the opportunity to explore real-world sustainable development cases, discover cutting-edge technologies, and present their own initiatives in a dedicated institutional pavilion.

Uzbekistan has already positioned itself as a regional environmental hub by hosting major international events such as CRIC-21, CMS COP14, and the Samarkand Climate Forum, and is currently preparing to host CITES COP20. Eco Expo will be a logical continuation of this agenda and a significant step toward building a sustainable future for the region.
