The monitoring covered plant species such as  Allium suworowii, Potentilla reptans, foxtail lily, Kokand rosehip (Rosa kokanica) and others. These observations are vital for assessing the state of local flora, detecting changes in the ecosystem and taking timely action to protect rare and vulnerable species.

Field surveys play a crucial role in preserving the biodiversity of the reserve. They are an integral part of scientific research aimed at the sustainable management of natural resources and the conservation of Uzbekistan’s unique natural landscapes.

For reference: The Zaamin State Reserve was established in June 1928 on the territory of Zaamin and Bakhmal districts of Jizzak region. 1216 species of plants grow in the reserve, 21 of which are included in the Red Book of Uzbekistan.
