Environmental Damage in Samarkand Region Exceeds 137 Billion sum

During the inspection, it was found that representatives of the "M.T." farming enterprise were illegally extracting sand and gravel from the river using an excavator and trucks, without any permits or documentation.
As a result, the requirements of Article 18 of the Law "On Nature Protection" and Article 35 of the Law "On Subsoil" were violated. The environmental damage caused amounted to 137,472,370,649 UZS.
In connection with this case, the excavator and two trucks were impounded and sent to a penalty lot. The collected materials have been submitted to the General Prosecutor's Office for legal evaluation and appropriate action.
