Illegal warblers hunting attempt prevented in Ugam-Chatkal National Park

According to the State Environmental Control Inspectorate and the Department for Protected Natural Areas under the Ministry of Ecology, a resident of Uchtepa District, Tashkent—identified as R.F.—was detained during the raid while attempting to illegally hunt warblers.
For reference: In accordance with Law No. 627 of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Hunting and the Hunting Economy,” dated 8 July 2020, the hunting season is closed from 1 March to 15 August. During this period, hunting or capturing wild animals and birds is strictly prohibited.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender under Part 4 of Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Case materials have been submitted to the court for appropriate legal action.
Control raids aimed at preventing illegal hunting are ongoing.
